The Santa Cruz Watershed Collaborative primarily operates on a shared funding model. This means our partners who are able to give collectively support SCWC's efforts which helps cover our annual operating costs and builds financial resilience over time. Many of our partners also give through their valuable time, expertise, and other contributions.
We are truly grateful for our partners who have contributed to help SCWC thrive.

Additional SCWC funding comes from the Conserve to Enhance (C2E) Program. C2E sustains the Tucson basin’s natural heritage of flowing desert rivers by enhancing access, stewardship, restoration, protection, knowledge, and connection to our rare and valuable desert rivers.
In 2024, the Santa Cruz Watershed Collaborative initiated a local drought planning initiative with the support of two grants. To make this possible, funding has been contributed by the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority of Arizona as well as the Bureau of Reclamation.
